Description This is my latest Rainmeter Skin, Khaki Trends. Named for the color and trending graphs. This is packaged in an .rmskin format for easy installation. The design is loosely based off of NOOKA designs and my previous ISM5 meters.

This will probably be my last Rainmeter skin for a while. I am going to focus on my other graphic design work and even my 3d rendering designs in the coming months.

Please comment and let me know what you think, good or bad…

Meters include…
• Temp – CPU, MB, GPU
• Fans – 2x Case Fans, CPU Fan
• 4Day Weather
• System Time, Uptime, Date
• CPU, Memory, Network, & SWAP Usage
• 5x HDD Sensors with Activity Charts

Credits go to…
• Nylons for inspiration for using the NOOKA designs.
• Fontfabric for Zag Font
• VClouds for Weather sensor
• Janbure for meter design inspiration

Thanks,
MBGD

I just started messing around with Rainmeter, loved this suite, and added GPU Usage and GPU Fan Speed blocks. With the permission of the author, I'd be happy to share them! Does require msiafterburner.dll and instance to be running in tandem with Speedfan...

*Edit: Though, the CPU, GPU and MB temps could maybe be a little bit bigger, but thats just my opinion ^.^ Still easy to read them.

Help the weather skin not working

I have had problems with it. It works sometimes and sometimes when it works not everything shows up. I believe that it is the website where the information is collected from. For example, it is working fine for me now, but sometimes I have to refresh it several times for it to work. In fact, that is why I added the refresh button.
Also make sure that you have added the correct location code for it to work for you. By default, it is blank and will not display any weather information.
Thanks,
MBGD

Great skin! I love it. For those of you that can't get fan/temperatures too work, you will have to have speedfan installed like previously mentioned. If it shows wrong temperature, or no temp at all you have to enter the .ini file and edit the number in the line:
SpeedFanNumber=5
I had to edit all of them because i have SLI which means that the temps are arranged differently in speedfan, and other variables that mixed them up. I just crosschecked with a differen temp program and edited the number "5" until the skin showed the correct temperature.

And the weather skin doesn't work now (i guess it did before?) Thats because the url's at weather.com have changed, also they have changed the format on the xml.weather.com which means that the regex in the .ini file isnt set up properly (my best guess)
I'm not skilled in regex so i can't fix this, but if someone could that would make me very happy

how do you get the weather skin to work because i copied the loc_url link and pasted it into my browser and then it came up with my location and that then i copy the new url and past it into the main url section and i still get nothing?

I guess that I should have mentioned that to get the fan and temperature sensors to work you have to be running speedfan. This is a free software package that reads information from your system. The sensors use a plugin created for that software. Also in the config file the sensors are numbered. For example, speedfan may define one PC's CPU fan as fan 0 where another PC may see the CPU fan as fan 1. There is a some good information about this in rainmeter's online manual and other sources on the internet. As far as the weather goes you have to input your location code in the config file. Once again, the same sources provide good information.
