Description
This specimen is belongs to the noted species, otherwise known as the soft tortoise.
Appearantly, these giant (over a foot long) oriental soup ingridients are supposed to be pretty agile, as a dictionary entry stated: "They are noted for their agility and rapacity".
This could not be more true, as when a piece of raw chicken is thrown at these plunderous beasts much agile action could clearly be seen.

One of the more exciting sights is the Trionyx' "catch chicken" manouver - One which involves what appears to be a very fast and hard cervical erection ( [link] ).
Even the most frigid people who were with me by the river bed that day could not help but laugh at the animal which evolution had bestowed upon with a giant penis for a head.

This photo is by no means artistic, but I did wish to share the story with you, and get the previous deviation off my main page.
