No problem ^o^ If you go on add media you can select anything from your gallery to put into the text (under the deviantart section). For me I had to type your name first but it should just be in one of your gallery folders it gives you. I don't know how they ever get onto the emoticon section but at least it works this other way :3

I'm guessing you can only use the thumbnail when you're a Core member? I've only been a Core member twice, but I don't really understand why thumbnails in the descriptions of deviations only work for other Core members, and not for the general public...
