My goal right now is "1000 set of manga/comic eyes"
Now I have a plan to make a dictionary of Mangaka's and comic artists' basic designs, like eyes, hair, and other things for their characters, for the people in the future as references as they start out to become a comic/mangaka artist.
I believe this will be alot of work and it will be worth it.

This is really useful! There are so many in the series-I mean, I know there's loads of ways to draw anime eyes, but it still blows me away!

If only everything is copyright FREE... I think I would really do it... right now its impossible to use contemporary arts for dictionary material.

I have seen the entire series; I am not particularly an anime fan, but I must admit, this is a spectacular series of eyes, perhaps the only one (if not the best) of its kind on deviantart. I must fave.

*grin* this is a really cool thing for refrence. Hm, that would be really neat, a big book with just pictures and stuff like this in it....yeah, I'd buy that.

but its not exactly original, for future generations cos manga stuff is everywhere. Id definately have a look into sum more stuff, like manga but modified with your own added style to it, cos to b truthful it does get boring see the same old stuff, yet a useful guide for people who whant to look at the basic facial expressions in the world of manga. Be different, its would still b manga and everyone loves all that stuff yet it would seem more appealing if you gave it a unique twist...

Body shapes and hands study are done pretty widely, perhaps not the manga way yet. I will look into it.

Good idea on making the dictionary. I wish you the best of my wishes, and I hope you do a great work on it. This will be an immediate favorite, as I make manga myself, and this will be a wonderful reference.

oh, I will include the American comics too... some names will be European/American names... but I don't like to separate them anymore. (it gets me sick listening to all those stupid debates on who reigns) I will be including them all the same... as long as I get information to search on.
All copyright will belong to the individual owners... I hope that gets me out of any suing trouble... :/ It's not possible to go e-mail or talk to every freaken artists out there I have recorded... but that's what worries me most right now. I am also seriously considering whether I should include sue-happy companies like Disney in it...
