As music rapidly evolved from the 50s onwards, fashion really started to become part of identity, due to the discovery of polyester that could come in any colour you wanted! With new job availabilities, new music and new fashion, teens really started defining their own culture. These looks are some of my personal favourites from the 70s and 80s, though it was almost nearly impossible to choose between so many different little subcultures! I put my own spin on them, but rest assured, hours of research went into these babies!<3
