Upon watching the last season of Black Books, namely episode number one, one line uttered by Manny particularly stuck out in my mind."You can't survive off the mushrooms in your hair."
Hmm... for those who know me, it is obvious why this line in particular caught my attention. If I had needed any more reason to love Bernard, this would have been it. But I didn't, he was already my hero.

This is REALLY good! However, the right side of the face is a little off; it seems like he has no cheek and the eye is a bit lopsided. Otherwise fantastic work! ^^

I wasn't going for realism when I did the original sketch, which was no bigger than 2"x2" on a sheet of paper. Also, he is supposed to look a bit drunk.
I guess I'm trying to say that I know it's a bit off, but that's how the simplification of characteristics worked out. *shrug*
