Description
This is my Secret Santa gift for the Secret Santa event over atI was the secret santa of who requested either Jay, Mikleo or Sophie. I almost drew Sophie but since I only played Graces once, Legendia never and Zestiria already three times - yeah. You see the result XD
he looks quite manly, does he not? XD I blame drawing so many manly men as of late XD but it definitely suits him :3 He looks pretty badass when it comes to stature but still calm and sophisticated when it comes to his eyes and lips :3
so I hope the balance works :3

I really like the use of colours and shading on this piece. The darker tones on his robes work well with the way the clothes move, and in turn their movement is really well handled. As with other traditional pictures, I like the white in his hair to add a sense of light to the pic and the eyes are wonderfully done, especially the glint in them.

yeah but back then when I was there I always had money for at least very small but well thought out gifts. I love gifting small presents and I always had at least one for everyone (and I always had them already by november XD I just couldn't wait to be let loose to buy or make them)

what I find works for me is have my price range the way it is when I don't particularly feel like drawing even more than I am already and then have a few limited events with discounts when I do feel like drawing someone else's character XD

That's only part of it for me XD I have such limited time that it has to be also worth that. Obviously I can't charge anything like an hourly fee and most just a no one so I can't charge a large sum either. So me feeling like drawing something new makes me lower my prices for a united number of commissions while being busy lets me halfway hope I one will commission me with a large piece right now XDĀ
