The child in the middle of the picture is the only one who seems to be caring for the monkey.
I asume that is what you wanted to capture too.
To be honest, this is what touched me in the picture. The colors and tones are beautiful too. But the situation is so sorrowful that I only could see that child. Perhaps he wouldn't do that to a monkey if he could.
