Pic that I did for a weekly challenge on a forum.It's from Castlevania Circle of the Moon on gba
Well I really like Castlevania series, and this form of dracula is the most badass IMO, I was very surprised (not to mention that it was a qite difficult fight for me
) ! By the way, the title's pic is taken from the name of the music played in this stage.

This is just. Too. Awesome. One of the best Dracula fights and I STILL can't beat it without Uranus summons. To put that in perspective, I can bitch OoE Dracula without taking a hit AND without the Death Ring. CotM not part of the canon timeline my ass!

I've seen a lot of Castlevania fan art before. And this one takes the fucking cake!!
I also dig the song 'Proof of Blood"; which is where I found this wicked pic when finding and extended version on YouTube!
As a long time Castlevania fan I can sincerely call this some of the best fan art I've seen in the entire series!!

Thank you! There are few boss fights which gave me such an impression and I had to do this picture! Dracula's demonic appearance, the music, all was pretty intense!

Gorgeous pic, and yeah this form of Dracula was increadible. I think "The Proof of Blood" music kind-off proves Nathan has Belmont blood in him.

I was pretty unlucky on the cards on my first game. I grinded more on the second run so it was indeed easier !

I mean, i also tend to skip enemies and end up insufficient-leveled and struggling to beat bosses.
But the cards are so cool I can't help but grind on every enemies to find them

The sad thing is that I didn't flee any battle usually but I just had terrible luck on my first try. The inventory system does not keep track of monster drops and it doesn't help.
However, a hard castlevania is fine, too !

Ack. You didn't skip enemies? I loved escaping skirmishes since I was racing to finish the story (staying in one area to level up is too boring when we're dead curious about the next event).
And yeah. Since it was the first Castlevania, it's normal that there's no enemies list like in Harmony of Dissonance or Aria of Sorrow.
Out of the three game boy advance Castlevanias i think CoTM's bosses are the craziest. And you're right, the harder the better!

He got my health down pretty fast, though I just lept into the air and spammed Summon Unicorn to recover that... man hunting those last two cards was worth it!

Awesome work. You really captured how intimidating and epic that fight was. It took me months to figure out to use the super jump and drop technique when he started charging at you.

I've never played Castlevania, but seeing this picture (and reading the comments) makes me want to. The only things that would make this guy even more menacing would be a mouth around the third eye in his stomach and a tail with a wicked sickle or stinger with acid dripping from it. Then it again, that would probably be over doing it.

Heh, this is one of his more glorious moments. The guy took just so long to beat the first time around, all the turns after I'd always trained Nathan as high as possible and fought as many enemies as possible for experience and to get as much healing items before duking it out with the Lord of the Castle.
Also I think that this form does fit Draculas "I am an Dragon and the Devil" rather well, after all his name or at least Dracul means son of the Dragon (or I could be wrong with that) it's powerful, menacing, yet in a way it's hauntingly beautiful...
By the way I get the feeling that have subscribed a comment before....

Juste épique ce dessin et le combat l'était tout autant, c'est une honte que ce Castlevania soit sous estimé (et n'entre pas dans la chronologie officielle des CV qu'est ce que t'as fumé Iga ? <__< ). Mon Dracula préféré, mon héros de CV préféré de mon MetroidVania préféré en plus Proof of Blood est la meilleure ost de combat final, Konami devrait plus souvent essayé de faire des nouvelles musiques plutôt que des remake ça a plutôt bien marché dans ce Castlevania (bien que ça grouillé de musiques de Castlevania 3 et BloodLines xD). Bref Favoris direct :,)

Bah de toute façon avec le dernier reboot en date, ça ne veut plus dire grand chose la chrono officielle... Par contre oui c'est vrai que c'est bizarre et que ce Castlevania est un peu sous évalué (je le préfère à Harmony of Dissonance, perso).
Pour le coup Proof of Blood j'aurais pas craché pour un arrange, le processeur sonore gba étant ce qu'il est, c'est un peu frustrant !

Bah le reboot c'est une chronologie propre à ce Castlevania donc c'est en même temps canon et non canon x) et il faut aussi dire que c'est pas Konami de base qui devait développé ce jeu, par contre il est vrai qu'un remix de ce thème aurait été génial je verrais bien un remix orchestral totalement épique *____*.

This is such an epic picture words fail to describe how awesome it is. XD This was my first Castlevania game and it took so long for me to defeat Dracula the second time. You captured the battle quite well, I don't think anything could have made it better.

Always did like this version of Dracula's final form. Felt this was the most powerful and threatening out of all his forms. Wish they would use this design of dracula again, instead of reusing symphony's one constantly. That one is not bad, but something different never hurt.
