If Disney sold dolls that looked like this, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. This is adorable. (Actually, they did have cute, beanie baby type dolls of the Hitchhikers, but Disney discontinued them. And yes, they sit on my headboard. 
I love the coloring and linework for this, too. It's very retro and makes me think of little Golden Book illustrations. It's very late '50s, early '60s style work.
