I am not sure about this one. It has all the classic features of Vinyl such as the Headphones, glasses, horn and pony ears, and I do like how you did the audio jacks as a tail. How ever Vinyl is a white pony. Here Vinyl is more of a caramel tan brown you would see for like an hispanic person.
I am not trying to be racist but it just kinds of throws it off for me. Just that one issue.
I could see Cranky Doodle Donkey like being an Cranky old black guy or something like how Morgan Freeman played once in his movies.
I am just a type of person that likes transitions to be literal. White pony should be white person. Pinkie Pie, pink pony be pink person, Twilight purple pony should have like purple skin.
Hope you don't mind my criticism. Other then that I do like most of your art works

No problem, I respect all opinions. ^^
but I gave the skin for two reasons.
1. the idea of seeing anyone with dark skin was taken.
2) it is personal opinion but I know what you see on the ponies is not skin if not the coat. why I do not like the skin tone of EG it was very literal in the colors.

2) es opinion personal pero que yo sepa lo que uno ve en los ponis no es la piel si no el pelaje. por eso no me gusta el tono de piel de EG, fue muy literal en los colores.
