Description
I was invited to draw some additional art for Newground's Dreamcast Collab, and I chose Capcom Vs SNK 2. I remember how amazed I was back in my teens when this game came out, I even got to play it in the arcades. The art style and all of those awesome characters gathered in a single game... amazing. I spent some time thinking about which characters to feature, cammy, sakura and chunli were obviously among my options from the street fighter characters vs Mai Shiranui, king and yuri from the SNK fighters. In the end I chose sakura and yuri since their concepts are pretty similar, and I like both characters quite a lot (I'm a bit more in favor of yuri though). Anyways, this was super fun to work on, I love fight scenes and the nairobi stage with the rally cars was one of my favorites from the game.
