The Title says it all, they're JUST friends! I even have them say it themselves. There's no romance between them at all, I watched the cut scenes and while I see a deep concern and caring for them, I see a close friendship and nothing more than that. They are not in love!The only love I see between them is a brotherly/sisterly love! I just wish people would just accept that. In fact, I was alright with Silver and Blaze just being friends...until the Silvaze shipping got out of hand that is...Edit:

And not just that, but IMO Silvaze gets a lot of unfair love. I mean, look at SonElise; it's also from Sonic '06, but it has so many fewer fans than Silvaze. I bet it's because Silvaze doesn't "conflict" with any other pairings, so people just pair them off because they don't multiship.
And never mind that the arguable hints in Sonic '06 are 100% non-canon, since the game never really happened in the continuity...>.>

I also have a theory that people love Silvaze because it keeps Blaze away from Sonic...but *shrugs* I just hate how they created an awesome character like Blaze only to throw her with another new character like Silver...

However, I don't mind Silvaze shippers, I just get peeved when people treat it like something with canon hints like Sonamy or Knuxouge. I *do* rather enthusiastically ship Sonic with Rouge and Knuckles with Blaze, after all...

And having yet ANOTHER hedgehog in the Sonic universe is so original? Please. The whole psychic powers thing is so cliche.
And the whole saving the future thing? That's just a Dragon Ball Z rip off! Sega should've stuck with their original plans to make him a mink! At least that would've been a little more original than yet another hedgehog!
Forget about the fact that she's a guardian and a princess. The fact that Blaze is the first female with a super form, a tough chick who can kick butt, isn't a damsel in distress, isn't whiny and clingy like a certain pink hedgehog I know and isn't a total slut like a certain bat we all know and hate...she's just a cheap rip off? Really? Not to mention she's the first cat in the series that has some competance!
By the way, I don't think Knuckles is royalty, unless you count the being descended from the cheif pacamac as royalty, but considering he's essentially the last of the Knuckles clan anyway I don't think that makes any difference. Far as we know, Blaze isn't the last of her kind, isn't red, and doesn't have spiked knuckles. She doesn't seem very gullible either, in fact she's a genius compared to Knuckles. She's also very practical.
In any case, I don't mean to sound rude or defensive, but you're dissing on my favorite Sonic character!

and I've had to put up with people constantly dissing MY favorite character irrationally for the past 7 or 8 years thanks to Sega. I'm not saying that blaze is a clone of Knuckles but she ripped off a lot of things from him. Plus, I can clearly see that you don't know anything about Knuckles' true character or fleshed out characters in general.

Just because someone's been dissing on your favorite character, you have to turn around and dis on other people's favorites and insult their taste in characters as well? Wow...I can't even begin to describe the ignorance in such reasoning.
Prior to Blaze, Knuckles was my favorite character. I've grown up playing him in Sonic 3 and Knuckles and happen to know plenty about him. Just because I happen to like Blaze and you don't, doesn't mean that I don't know anything about fleshed out characters. It just means we have a difference in opinion. Suffice to say that at the very least, you agree with me that Silvaze shouldn't be canon. I suggest we just leave it at that, because I'm not going to continue a pointless argument over some made up characters that don't exist. You have your opinion and I have mine.

Yeah exactly! And my whole beef with Silvaze is that suddenly Blaze is seen with a new character when she's new herself. The first time Sonic's actually interested in a girl, and they randomly throw her with someone else. Probably to please the Sonamy shippers.

I have to admit, some people in the Silvaze fanbase can be total jerks, but so can people in the Sonaze fanbase. Oh, and people have been speaking up about it for ages, by posting Sonaze or Silvamy pictures. You aren't original.

Original or not, I haven't really seen a whole lot of anti-Silvaze stuff on here. In fact I look for Anti-Silvaze stuff and I find pro-silvaze and anti-sonaze stuff...soo...yeah...maybe it's just me...
I try not to be a total jerk about it...but I'm just tired of seeing Silvaze all the time...it's annoying...
I probably wouldn't make it a big deal if it wasn't in my face whenever I look up some new Blaze pictures...I just see Silver and Blaze as friends...

There aren't really any anti-Silvaze pics, just pics of other couples involving Silver and Blaze. And I understand how you feel. Everyone's got a pairing they don't like that others do that shows up EVERYWHERE (*cough*SHADAMY*cough*).
Sonaze was actually meant to be a canon pairing, but when Silver showed up and the ending of Sonic Next Gen arrived on YouTube, fans, most likely SonAmy ones who didn't want SilvAmy and Sonaze to happen, started shipping the two together.

Yeah that's kind of what I figured. Sonamy fans went postal and started shipping Silvaze to get Blaze away from Sonic. It was convenient enough since Silver and Blaze worked together in '06...so they started to interpret their friendship as "being in love." I can only imagine how Sonic would really feel about this. 
If they were real that is...
