Description I created this to practice my composition and lighting.

The goal was to take an ordinary object and try to make it look amazing.

This stuffed kitten is just your ordinary not to pleasing doll. Has ragy material as his/her skin, the stitches are showing spends life on a wooden table. It has big dreams, dreams to be the most stunning kitten of all.

This is what I think would be going through its mind of how it would like to be seen through the eyes of all kids.

The quote fits perfectly. I am very happy you can see the message and can relate it to yourself through this, shows how powerful art can be.

Make it look amazing? Check. I' take that kitten doll and give it a special spot in my home. Looking at it, it's the raggy material and the stitches and the knobs for eyes that give it character. It carries a lot of wishfulfillment.

Glad you like it so much. Β I originally thought the story and the wishfulfillment Β side of things gave it its attraction but seems the doll itself also has its Β place

It's because we all have our stitches, no? Personal, unique imperfections. I can relate to that little doll, and this relation breathes life into it. That's what I see when I look at it. I can't help but think of a quote I once heard: "Nothing is so common-place as to wish to be remarkable."
