The Milky WayPage Spread from my upcoming book THE SECRET MAGICS OF MAINE
I am asking for criticism. I am posting these pieces for the next few weeks so I can make changes and edits that I think is in their best interest. They are all being complied in to a collection of mythology based in the state of Maine. So please post changes or questions of flaws you see in these pieces so I can send in the best art I can when I submit this to the Publisher in the next couple of weeks.

its a very pretty and bittersweet story. cant say i really like the spacings and positionings of the paragraphs- or the pics on this page compared to the others, but the story itself merited a fav

The only things I notice are the spacing between paragraphs is not the same in the last two paragraphs . . . and in some paragraphs, the first word is indented and in others, it isn't.
Usually, if you have a double space between paragraphs, you don't need the indent.

Gorgeous work - only criticism I`d have is in the sketch of pendant looks too straight, but is okay you just asked for critique.
Definitely an eye-catching series, as someone who works in a bookshop looks good to me

lovely story,and the pic of her standing looking out at the waves is perfect. The bottom pic, I would take another look at the facial proportions, look off to me, only mentioning for your benefit

Beautiful. Love it. You asked for criticisms. So I have one beef with it. As I said every aspect of it is beautiful, but the necklace bothers me. It's pretty and I know it's upposed to be kind of in the middle of nowhere, but for some reason it bothers me. Maybe it's too big...I can't quite put my finger on it, but it throws off the page a little.

I wanted some of the stories in this book to be more sad and scary like the old fairy tales. I didn't want everything to be sweet because that is not what fairy tales are.

i love the old fairy tales.. though some can be very dark

I tried to strike a good balance of happy to sad and Light to dark.

beautiful detail on the necklace. and the different colored stars are a great effect.
