Description
A soldier who belongs to a fantasy-steampunk universe. Inspired by the French and other allied troops from The Great War. Intended to be the downtrodden goodies fighting against a stronger and more aggressive enemy. I want to do some more designs from the same universe, they're a lot of fun. In the end he ended up looking a bit too French in my opinion, he was meant to look more fantasy, but I'm still happy with it.The big guy with the pouches left of main figure was inspired by Andre the giant.
Towards the end of my time painting these guys I found the cool gallery of which inspired me a bit.
Curly mustaches look very dashing indeed.

Seems like a nice mix of styles, French helmet combined with British Bombshell helmet perhaps - I notice it has a simularly wide brim thing, along with a slightly German looking Stg40 gun. Aside from that the Uniform looks very french to me. Awesome I think.
