EDIT: Updated! Toned down the bright lighting a bit and added a little ring thingy.A complete overhaul on the last image. This time, the emeralds actually look like emeralds, rather than those blocky things I made in the last image. I placed them onto their own separate pedestals, and added the Master Emerald in the middle.

the place of the 7 chaos emeralds plus the Master Emerald in the center reminds me a bit the city of Midgar from Final Fantasy VII

If you put that picture around the alter it would look like something incredible was gonna happen. But other than that- i'd sa thats the best display of the 7 chas emeralds and master emerald i've ever seen! Seriously, it's the best!

It's nice, but unless that smaller green emerald is placed there because of some order then I much rather think it should swap places with the red one. The color becomes imbalanced because of the green next to green, and since red and green complement it should work well that way

I was wondering if anyone had yet made a 3D interpretation of the chaos emeralds. Very nice and futuristic-looking aswell. The only advice I have ( only if your'e up to re-rendering it ) Is position the main camera view differently so the small green emerald dosn't appear right on top of the Master emerald, it would look better if the area above the Master emerald was one of the gaps between two Chaos emerald pedastals.
Of course, the scene itself dosn't need much editing, it looks very good, just the position of the camera. You may want to try making the emeralds glow too !
