That's what I guessed. I'm drawing in my sketchbook with graphite and a kneaded eraser right now- really basic stuff like "draw the coffeepot, draw the spoons, draw the blender" (curved forms are good practice)- but I want to go and get my colored pencils out of my drawers and draw with them soon.  I have not used them since I was a kid.  I've seen a bunch of people sketch with colored pencils and I like the effect.  I've also heard it helps you develop a lighter touch, since colored pencils have such delicate tips when sharpened.

Did you do this sketch from something you saw from life?  It has that relaxed "let's draw this friend/relative resting on the couch" vibe around it. XD

Aw yes do that!! Colored pencils are so much fun : D No this one was actually fom imagination but I also have some lifestudies, which I'm uploading right now^^

Really?  Cool! You've got a sense for how thing are put together for sure.  I look forward to seeing those lifestudies. xD By the way, how do you sharpen your colored pencils?  With an ordinary sharpener, or a knife?  Some people do that to get a nice point.

Actually, I think the knife is older fashioned than the sharpener. I've experimented with knives for sharpening- it exposes more of the lead for shading and allows for a very fine point, but the ordinary sharpener is more convenient.  And obviously you have to be very careful with a knife.  I learned the hard way, ha ha. ^^
