Beautiful feather work. The shaft of the quills have just the right amount of sharpness in lighting on the longer flight feathers to give it weight and strength. and the loss of focus on feathers closer to the crow (or raven?)'s back really defines the depth of the firgure. Loving this. And after a look through your gallery I think I can guess your favorite subject 
One more thing to mention: I love your color choices both in the background but also the brown vs blues in the bird itself.

yes, indeed, i do like me some ravens. these were all for a show i'm having where the theme is ravens, though. mostly i prefer people as my subject matter.
