They both are robots and hence can't be real siblings. They don't even have blood or DNA. They only share their creator and some core values and live together in his house, however it doesn't prove they're siblings. In games, they've never called each other brother or sister. It's up to you how you interpret that relationship since it's unclear in classic series. There are some moments in games where they behave like siblings, although there appear a few allusions to Roll's crush on Rock. In Legends and Battle Network, romance between Roll Caskett and MegaMan Volnutt and MegaMan.EXE and Roll.EXE is more obvious. Respect other people's opinions.

The same could've been said for almost every Robot Master DLN-001 Mega Man has fought. Upon being defeated in the Mega Man Archie Comics (Super Adventure Rockman and Mega Man 3 story arc), DWN-017 Needle Man stated that they were merely "tools" and he only fought him under Wily's orders. There's a lot of exceptions in this case, but most Robot Masters do work for higher authorities, so the principle is arguably similar in most instances.
Outside of people purely shipping, I think it's because DLN-002 Roll had a crush on SWN-001 Bass in one of the Rockman mangas. I can't remember the name of it, but the MMKB should be able to specify which one. Either way you look at it, it's still more appropriate DLN-002 Roll has a crush on SWN-001 Bass rather than DLN-001 Mega Man (since DLN-001 Mega Man and DLN-002 Roll are officially considered "siblings" in relation...).

I never stated such a thing. In fact, your assumption that I came to such a conclusion speaks more about yourself rather than me. Having a crush on someone that looks older than you is completely different than having unrestrained lust for anyone regardless of age, gender, etc..
SWN-001 Bass only looks "older" than DLN-002 Roll even though he isn't. The Mega Man & Bass CD of DWN-009 Metal Man confirms that DWN-009 Metal Man is "The first robot that Dr. Wily created and was designed after Cut Man." Mega Man 2 and its various adaptations have explained that Dr. Wily created the eight Robot Masters seen in Mega Man 2 to destroy DLN-001 Mega Man. This was in response to DLN-001 Mega Man stopping Dr. Wily's schemes during the events of Mega Man/Mega Man Powered Up. The official backstory prior to Mega Man/Mega Man Powered Up states that DLN-002 Roll was created alongside DLN-001 Rock. All that said, DLN-002 Roll is actually "older" than SWN-001 Bass (although technically, robots don't age like humans do, they just become outdated and eventually obsolete over time).
I have indeed beaten half of these games suggested (Mega Man Powered Up and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes to be exact).
You may have interpreted DLN-002 Roll's banter with Copy Roll in Mega Man Powered Up as an insinuation, but it's only an interpretation not proof. One could also interpret the dialogue as simply DLN-002 Roll looking after her brother (as DLN-001 Rock/Mega Man is mysteriously never seen in any other characters' [non-canon] stories) and was simply caught off guard by Copy Roll's remark. As far as the downloadable "Valentine Roll" costume goes, it never states who DLN-002 Roll's "valentine" is (even so, being one's "valentine" doesn't automatically mean you're said one's love interest). You'll see my response pertaining to Rockman 6: Shijō Saidai no Tatakai!! (Rockman Complete Works) down below... Oh, you mean that heart above them during the level clear in Tobe! Rockman? That's a possibility, but keep in mind that DLN-002 Roll has been rescued by DLN-001 Mega Man several other times and no other instance shows her having any romantic interests towards him or any of her other rescuers. The scene could also be seen as another out of character instance, as fans have also cited out of character behavior from DLN-001 Mega Man in the ending of Mega Man 7. Lastly, there's nothing in the Marvel vs. Capcom games that can be interpreted as such.

I intend on learning Japanese eventually and probably will instead read the original material since I don't like over relying on fan translations (even official translations can be questionably accurate at times). Also, I didn't mean to have been misleading but I admit to be incorrect about Rockman Battle & Chase ever being a manga (it's actually a manhua) or about it being written in Japanese (it appears to have been written in Chinese).
Having have read the lyrics of "Where the Wind Blows" (the official English version of "Kaze yo Tsutaete" from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars) and watched the ending of Rockman 6: Shijō Saidai no Tatakai!! (Rockman Complete Works), here's my conclusion: Despite this song being often used and referred to as "Roll's Theme" and Rockman 6: Shijō Saidai no Tatakai!! gameplay being showed during the credits, it still only possibly hints of DLN-002 Roll's deep affectionate feelings towards DLN-001 Mega Man and even so that's just speculation and nothing else.
Lastly, I'm sorry if you took offense to my disapproval of "Mega Man x Roll" or any other shippings and I don't mean to call you out about anything. However, the bottom line is this is just solely my subjective opinion and subjective opinions are neither right or wrong.

You do really call just affection a song where it even mentions something like "The eve of our first kiss can come to mind (remember when...) As our lips had locked, I knew this couldn't be forever (like this...)" or "I've gotta knock on your door, just like before, will that make you love me even more?" or " have been lonely ever since you left. Will I ever feel your warmth once again? When you left me, it was like my heart was almost broken"

As for powered up, even if Valentine Roll is not said to be in love with Rock explicitly, you already have the hint from copy Roll and original Roll has a quote with that custome saying "Happy Valentine's Day! I wonder if my secret crush is obvious? Tee hee hee..". That pretty much compensates what copy Roll suggested and who could be more obvious than Rockman who has always been there for Roll to protect her and being the one who forms a pun with her?
And as i told you, Powered Up and Megaman 6 Complete Works arent the the only games where Roll is depicted to have a crush on Megaman. Take a look a Jump!Rockman

Opinion counts, but you have to support it with evidence. If you have proves about Roll having romantic feelings for other robot that is not Rockman then just put the evidence here. And again, we are talking about Roll´s feelings, not other robots feelings for her. Just put some official games(not fan games) or Official material by Capcom and lets see them, we won´t account manga or adaptation comics as they are not direct material by Capcom.

Alright... I hope to clear the air and bury the hatchet on this conversation, so let's get things straight and squared away:
1. Opinions don't need additional evidence or verification to be valid unless said opinion is objective rather than subjective (i.e. an "opinion" that 2 + 2 = 5 would be considered invalid as it's based on a logical maxim, not emotional).
2. I have no evidence to state that DLN-002 Roll doesn't show any form of romantic interest towards DLN-001 Mega Man and, to be frank, I could care less because of one fundamental oversight in this prolonged debate: I was originally only giving MattCarberry an informative response and just so happened to have stated my viewpoint on the hypothetical romantic relationship of "DLN-002 Roll x SWN-001 Bass" versus that of "DLN-002 Roll x DLN-001 Mega Man". Again, I never intended on forcing you or anyone else to think otherwise or to be offensive by any means.
