To do something like this would take forever to do, or never. I gotta hand it to British railfans, you really love your steam more than we do over here.

The paint scheme is definitely reminiscent of Loewy's GG1 scheme, though he used Brunswick Green instead of Pennsy's regular Tuscan Red, which was painted onto the GG1's later in life. Is this engine serviceable?

Fantastic. Hard to get better than this.
Did Duchess of Hamilton ever wear blue and white, or just red and gold?

And then there are the completely out-there paint jobs. If I see one more tank engine painted like Thomas, but that doesn't look anything like Thomas, I'm going to scream. And you have to know that she'll never be called "Olton Hall" again.

The Reverend Wilbert must be rolling in his grave. I wonder what's going to happen to the franchise once his son dies. I'm predicting a takeover of the copyright and the appointment of a ghostwriting team to produce watered down stories, likely without the hand-painted illustrations.
