To do something like this would take forever to do, or never. I gotta hand it to British railfans, you really love your steam more than we do over here.

The paint scheme is definitely reminiscent of Loewy's GG1 scheme, though he used Brunswick Green instead of Pennsy's regular Tuscan Red, which was painted onto the GG1's later in life. Is this engine serviceable?

Afraid not no, however her sister 6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" is.

That's good. I'm still hoping that the DampfLokWerke gets the "Blue Lady" up and running again. Streamlined steamers are pretty cool-looking engines.

Fantastic. Hard to get better than this.

Did Duchess of Hamilton ever wear blue and white, or just red and gold?

No, but it has been said that she could wear blue.
In the 1930s, No 6220 was to go to America for a tour, however, at the time it was unavailable, so they did an ID swap with 6229. So although it was red at the time, it carried the number 6220 and was named "Coronation" (Coronation was one of the four blue locos)
I know it's not a very strong argument, but I would like to see it

I wouldn't mind seeing it in blue either. Besides, they've used weaker arguments for stranger paint jobs

And then there are the completely out-there paint jobs. If I see one more tank engine painted like Thomas, but that doesn't look anything like Thomas, I'm going to scream. And you have to know that she'll never be called "Olton Hall" again.

Well, these days you're not likely to see a loco in Thomas livery. Most railways have given up on it these days.
Hit Entertainment (which is only missing the "s" ) have jacked up their prices meaning it is prohibitively expenseive.

The Reverend Wilbert must be rolling in his grave. I wonder what's going to happen to the franchise once his son dies. I'm predicting a takeover of the copyright and the appointment of a ghostwriting team to produce watered down stories, likely without the hand-painted illustrations.
