Description This map is about a fictional future for Bolivia. It has been inspired by the military coup happened recently in that country. Because of inner important demographic, geographic and political differences I've thought it could be split into two new countries based on ethnic identification: Quechuaimaran Socialist Federal Republic (República Federal Socialista Quechuaimara) and Republic of Grigotá (República de Grigotá). Their capital cities would be El Alto (political offices would be moved from La Paz) and Santa Cruz respectively. The Republic of Grigotá would consist of four departments (Pando, Beni, Santa Cruz and Tarija) that would incorporate areas from old departments of La Paz and Chuquisaca. In addition, Quechuaimaran Socialist Federal Republic would be composed of two socialist republics: Aimaran Socialist Republic (capital city: El Alto too) and Quechuan Socialist Republic (capital city: Cochabamba). This would include an exclave too: the District of Apolo, in the northwest. The Wiphala would be the official flag of the Quechuaimaran Socialist Federal Republic and the new flag for the Republic of Grigotá would be inspired by the first Bolivian flag. City of Sucre would be renamed back as Chuquisaca.
