Bloodthirsty. Hot-tempered. Terse. And just a little unhinged.
Fel is a creature seemingly born of pure spite. She's the result of a strange liason between Rufio and Vasanti. Shortly after she was born, her dam left her with the Democ pack - that of her sire. The matriarch, Kaur, was displeased at the reminder of Rufio straying from her side, and Fel and Kaur were at each others' throats constantly. Ever at odds with her sire, 'the matriach, and other pack members, she promptly left her pack as soon as she was able.
She remains as something of a loner, though she casts covetous eyes at other packs and pockets of civilization. Luckily, lone drifters are not uncommon in Velukaelo, and temporary packs of convenience - where no one bothers to learn anyone else's name - abound. These are ever-temporary solutions, however. Fel tends to stick with these smaller packs, as large packs, cities, and villages make her feel on-edge.
Fighting is what Fel does best. She revels in the hunt, no matter if she hungers or not. The act of shedding blood seems to bring her joy, or perhaps peace. Her combative nature at times puts her at odds against others, both ketucari and other civilized species. Fel is usually the first to strike, as she's quick to anger and rile up, and she is generally the last to remain standing. When in battle, she's a berserker through and through. She becomes a deadly flurry of claws and teeth, heedless to her own pain. Friend and foe alike are in danger when she loses herself to her rage.
It's easy to assume Fel is a bit dense, considering her size and musculature. Her terse demeanor does nothing to help this notion. However, in Fel's mind - better to be underestimated.

MudslideThe spring thaw had come early this year to Mount Vitian and its' surrounding lands. Much of the snow had melted, especially near the base of the mountain, where Fel crept. It had been a rough winter, but this spring's mixture of damp weather and lingering cold made her old wounds ache. She was much too stiff, and slower to rise - and hoped that a trip to the Hallowed Tarn might change that.
Fel rolled an ill-tempered eye at the mountain. She'd descended carefully, but the melting snow and drizzling rain had created a mud that was slick and despite her best effort, she'd taken a tumble or two down a steep side. Her coat, already dark, was now streaked with mud as well. As her thoughts wandered, her paws once again skidded; luckily, she didn't slide but a few feet before regaining her balance. She sneered briefly at the mud before hastily glancing about, trying to casually ascertain if anything but the trees had seen her clumsy action.

the bard and his guard, Certain occurrences that triggered peculiar situations, all of which resulted in negative consequences, caused the female to question her current conditions of living. The life of a drifter was no foreign grounds to the battle hardened veteran. Populated civilization was something to be viewed from afar while hiding swallowing feelings she'd much rather have eat away at her heart than admit aloud. As she solemnly assessed her wounds, however, she couldn't help but question her recent life decisions.

Truce | Hallowed Tarn | PaymentFel’s green eyes scanned over the wilderness. She clutched her side, her breathing heavy as she struggled across the mountain terrain. Orcala, as the black Ketucari had been called, might have injured her, but she’d made sure the horrible creature had learned not to mess with her. In the moment, adrenaline and (dare she admit it) insanity had controlled her, allowing her to bound off as if she were unscathed. In the present, she was staggering from her injuries.

It was a bad time to come to Kandriya. It was a bizarre corner of the world, both incredibly fertile and sporting lush forests and amazingly sparse at the same time due to the local volcanoes being rather active ones and nearly constantly spewing lava.
This was one of those times.
Fel eyed the stream of lava, sluggishly moving downhill. Had she been a younger, more rambunctious ketucari, perhaps she might have toyed with the idea of leaping over it from side to side – but now, those risks just seemed foolhardy and asking for trouble. The last thing she needed was to burn some of her feathers. She glanced at her pair of companions to see how they'd react to the accursed stuff.

Trial by FireThe charcoal female had traveled a long way to get to the arid region of Lucedar. Izanami had heard about a ketucari who gave you directions to find the doman guardian of Sunye Wastes. She wasn't sure of what it all entailed, but that didn't scare the female. Rumors had it that if the ketucari managed to come out alive from this place, they would be strong enough to go into the forbidden land.

The Art of Deception Fel absently flexed the crest on the back of her neck as she neared the village. Her footsteps slowed as she realized that the villagers were gathering en masse at the end eastern end of the village – the one she was approaching. They were mostly akadri; their goatlike legs stamped and their tails lashed in agitation. A thinning plume of black smoke rose over the thatched roofs of their village; clearly a fire had recently been put out. The smell of it clung to the stone female's nose. She snorted audibly as she approached, her brilliant green crest flaring aggressively as her steps slowed.
The crowd of akadri muttered and bleated amongst themselves until they pushed an elder male forward. He challenged her, lowering a rather rusted pitchfork. “Why do you come here, ketucari?”

Fel. Quest 001: Vision.Wanderers, nomads, the homeless without need for a home - the fall together packs that wandered the continent had many names. Nuisance, for one. They formed in a breath and departed in another, broken up by conflict of interests or just boredom. For some a pack was family, a heartbeat, a life.
Fel had no such interest. A temporary pact of similar needs was all she needed. It was the only reason she walked alongside another of her kind now. They were certainly not family, those she traveled with. Even if they were, what did blood mean to her? Fel would rather have a fresh pool of water to drink from than a pack to feed.
Sabyn didn't quite know how to handle the brightly colored Ketucari. They'd come across each other out on the plains, Sabyn trying and failing to back a rock boar into a corner. Wordless, Fel had stepped up to help her, and together the pair had dropped the creature, earning them both a meal for the night and the next morning.
