i like what you were trying to go for, but i really think leaving that guy in the foreground so flatly rendered that he just ends up looking unfinished compared to the rest of the pic

I know what you mean, and i totally agree with you. But I did this more as a study and a quick practice than a 'page for real', and I was only focusing on the Catwoman and the mercenarys, so I guess it's natural you, or anyone, think this way...
And, hell yeah, Dustin and Derek are great artists!
