Thank you so much for letting me know. I've sent a person a message. I see they've copied three of my Kingdom Hearts paintings so far. I don't mind at all copying or reproducing my artworks, but I do expect the minimal courtesy of being *credited* for the original work. Thanks for your time and for letting me know.

Lol, I sound like a total dork, and I feel a bit odd, answering a question directed to the artist, I hope you don't mind me answering!


The most common and logical reason for Xigbar's pointed ears and- as well as Siax's- yellow eyes, that I have seen, is that, the closer to the darkness that they get, the more animalistic they become, like the Heartless.

Lol. Errm, I am not sure whether you are asking my WHY I painted him with Elf-ears, or WHY Xigbar, the character was designed with elf-ears by the makers of Kingdom Hearts?

Yes that is true, it showed in Birth by Sleep that after Xehanort took a fragment Braig's (Xigbar's) heart, Braig's eyes went from brown to yellow and his ears became pointy. But like Ataile said, I do also think it has something to do with the closer you become to the darkness. After all, why did Xehonart and Saix's eyes become yellow in the first place? I think that's why. Though in Saix's case it might just be in his nature, being connected to the moon and all.

Almost. It was actually the other way around; Braig/Xigbar took a fragment of Master Xehanort's heart sometime before the end of BBS although it isn't shown. Hence why his eyes were brown when he fought Terra, but were yellow by the time of his battle with Aqua. Saix also took a Xehanort fragment, although it is not known if Saix intended to do so or not (without giving away too many spoilers for KH 3D).

I see...I really thought it was the other way around because of that one scene in BBS where Xehanort sticks his keyblade into Braig's chest and afterward Braig collapses (from what I remember at least.) The next time Braig was shown, his eyes were gold. So I figured it was Xehanort's doing. How come it's the other way around? I have played KH DDD btw, so I think I get what you're saying about Saix. I also don't want to spoil too much for other people, but I'll keep it short and won't say too much. The scene with Saix, well...he would need to have a fragment of Xehanort's heart to be in the position he is in I take it? I honestly thought Saix would most likely be just playing along, gathering intel and waiting for the right time to somehow foil Xehanort's plan. After all...that always seemed to be the way he would operate, and he didn't seem to like Xemnas...at all. They seemed to have very different views and opinions, and ways of doing things. He seemed to just play along to earn Xemnas's trust, hence why he would have those secret chats with Axel in 358/2 Days to fill him in and give him his own orders. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's why I really got the impression that Saix...well, he wouldn't do anything to help Xemnas or Xehanort. So, even he somehow got a fragment of Xehanort's heart, I believe he maybe did it intentionally, so in Xehanort's eyes he would still be of use and keep him close at hand.
