As pointed out, the contrast was way too high and i left the strings layer at the top, plus some shading issues haha, Thanks! i tweaked the contrast a little and fixed the strings, added some light to the nose and made a slight shadow on the lips.

Well, I first started with anime related songs, openings and endings. Seems to be the first Japanese songs you can hear. Then you go for the artist and see what other songs they have. The songs of Digimon are cool, and other classics. But if I can refer to groups/artists, I could mention Asian Kung-fu Generation, sukima switch, sambomaster, orange range, nana kitade, yui, Nanase Aikawa, and many others, there're so many...!
It's only a matter of searching, those I mentioned are good options

Not bad! The strings are suppost to go under the fingers haha. Try to go a bit less with colouring. This has a bit too much contrast. Notice that under the nose/mouth there is a shadow. Keep on trying. You will get it
