Description This is a watercolor painting of John Hartford, bluegrass and old-time musician.

He was most known for his banjo abilities but also played fiddle and guitar as well as most anything else he could get his hands on. He was best known as the writer of the song "Gentle on My Mind", which became a smash hit by Glen Campbell.

He died in 2001 and is still missed.

He's a great fiddle and banjo player. I met him once a long time ago. He was a very nice guy and I am sure he would appreciate this. Excellent work!

Thank you, I've recently begun painting a good deal more than I used to.
If you've never used one before, try an Arches block and they're 100x easier to deal with.
