I reported the previous image, Goku and Vegeta, 'cus he actually supplied me with the link of the original.

Ya he hid the whole convo.
I try not to be an ass or anything but I cant stand people taking credit for someone elses work (he has since added the Akira Toriyama credit in his description also). Likewise I can not stand the fact he literally copied the image's original line work, posted it and says "ask for permission to color" or something. Just 'cus he copied the lines doesn't give him the right to "dictate" who works on someone elses art.

Meh.
Only 'cus I saw it did I make this fuss over it. There are too many "artists" like this on DA...

'cus my impression of DA and the whole reason I got an account was becasue its a huge art gallery of original art from original artists.
But there is a disgusting amount of people who use this as a dump site or, like, RapidShare for pictures (such as this kid allowing a 1280x1024 download of someone elses line art and then wanting people to ask him before coloring/posting)or even like a MySpace/Facebook page when it comes to what is uploaded.

So I guess thats the Ying/Yang of this site... you get artists like you and I, as well as industry artists that are on Marvel/DC/Tokyopop payroll all posting amazing and inspiring original art that we, the artists, produced ourselves in some way. On the other hand then you get the overwhelming amount of "artists" or "deviants" like mastertobi here who just rides on someone elses success and in some way is seeking credit for... what? posting the image? separating the colours and backgrounds? Or worse, art thieves.
