Scratch has technically identified her as a "shadow elf". In DnD terms this would make her an Illithiri, the race that precursored the drow.
In story terms I think she can be considered a now extinct form of dark elf.

I have to say, as far removed as it is from the actual point of the comic, I find myself interested in the 'world' of Manaworld. How'd Syx get pulled into what was supposed to be a succubus summon? Does her people populate the infernal plane, or some other plane entirely? Does she have any powers/skills/abilities beyond being really hot and getting stuffed extremely well?

Three chapters in, and I am no closer to answers. It's the best kind of aggravation possible, but it's still aggravation nonetheless.
