(Vitani fears for Kopa's safety and turns against Nuka before she and Kovu reunite with Kopa and Kiara and warn them about the yet to be orchestrated fire)

In the meantime in the Elephant Graveyard where there are several geysers steam. A full-grown Nuka and Vitani walk to the edge of an overhang and overlook the Elephant Graveyard. Vitani is carrying shoots in her mouth. Nuka winces.

VITANI: (concerned) Nuka, we shouldn’t do this! What about Kopa?

NUKA: I don’t care, Vitani! We’re starting the fire even if Kopa has to meet the fate that he should have met a long time ago!

VITANI: *snarl* That’s it! If you’re serious about this and not caring about our lives and our friends, you’re on your own!

With that, Vitani turns and races away leaving Nuka to light the fire on his own. At the same time, Kopa and Kiara are doing their first hunt together without interference. And then suddenly, out of the corner of their eyes, Kopa and Kiara are suddenly met by none other than Vitani and Kovu.

VITANI: (suddenly pouncing on Kopa) (excited and filled with emotion) Kopa! (Vitani stands on Kopa and licks and nuzzles him all over) I’ve missed you, Kopa.

KOPA: I’ve missed you too, Vitani.

At the same time, Kovu and Kiara meet again.

KOVU: You okay, Kiara?

KIARA: (with her eyes wide as she smiles) (recognition) Kovu?

KOVU: (smiling) (nuzzling Kiara) Hey, Kiara.

When Kopa and Vitani break apart as do Kovu and Kiara, they look at each other with curiosity.

KOPA: Not that I’m not happy to see you guys, but if I may ask, why are you guys here?

VITANI: We don’t want you to come this way.

KOVU: My and Vitani’s brother Nuka is going to start a fire. You don’t want to go near that.

KOPA: (seeing that Vitani and Kovu are not kidding around) Very well. If that is the case, Kiara and I will go another way.

KIARA: (agreeing) Yes we will.

VITANI: We’ll follow closely behind you both at a distance where it will be like that we’re not there.

KOVU: Agreed.

KOPA: (to Kiara) Then what are we waiting for? We still have our first solo hunt to accomplish.

With that, Kopa and Kiara continue their first hunt, and thanks to Imani’s training, Kopa and Kiara are able to successfully catch their first topi before they can get away with the rest of the herd while Vitani and Kovu follow closely behind.

KOPA: Now let’s get our prey back to Pride Rock. We’ve got a victory to celebrate.

KIARA: (to Kovu and Vitani) Yeah. Come on, Kovu and Vitani. (striding past Kovu and Vitani) We’re going home.

KOVU: (hesitant) I don’t know, Kopa and Kiara.

KOPA: You saved me and Kiara by warning us to stay away from the fire that is burning as we speak which means that Kiara and I are in your debt. And so, having the rest of my family thank you guys for what you did is the very least we can do.

KOVU: (feeling encouraged) Then I don’t see why not.

KIARA: (grinning with enthusiasm) My thoughts exactly.

VITANI: So, what are we waiting for?

With that, Kopa, Kiara, Vitani, and Kovu head off to Pride Rock with the topi that Kopa and Kiara have caught while at the same time, Nuka is not so lucky as because he was not able to escape the fire around him like did at first just like originally, Nuka is consumed by the fire, thereby completing his journey on the Circle of Life. Zira is then not able to blame neither Vitani nor Kovu. Luckily, Kopa, Kiara, Vitani, and Kovu are already safe and on their way to Pride Rock with the topi that Kopa and Kiara have caught where the celebration for their success in their first solo hunt is yet to be held.
