Oh well, I couldn't hold myself having a look in your galey, master. Just because this piece is a gift, there must be something special about it.
The technical work and the realism are amazing, but there is more. I see that your subject here is surrounded by gargoyles, which I suppose means that she is a protector of something. And I see she does her job very well, because of choosing such a hard to find place. I see there is a simetry between the walls, and you've put an accent on it because gargoyles are not supposed to look the same (as the legends say there are no two gargoyles alike), yet they are here. I see you subject is extremely serious about what she's doing but what about the owl? is the owl somehow a key to her? maybe a part of her personality or something. I guess the owl is representing a part of her, because you get the same feeling while looking at the owl. You've put accent on eye contact, on both the owl and her. If they're both magical and the owl is a part of her magic, then many connections make sense.
Now, about the place, I believe someone or something "used" it before because if the scratches on the walls as well as the feeling of how old it is... I can't stop thinking about the feeling of how serious she is. I saw you worked a lot on this piece and I guess that's why (at firs't view).
Your dedication is rewarded by how many things your works transmit. I think you are the most dedicated person i've ever seen. And you alwais come up with new things. Alwais. I appreciate you shared everything. I didn't see all your works yet, but I guess you are transmitting that "serious feeling" on all of them.

Oh, thank you, Ser, for such a long and detailed comment (it took me time to read and understand it)! Yes, I did focus on the eyes of the witch, and supposed to make an owl as a her continuation (I could not figure out where to put the owl... at first,I wanted an owl to sit on her shoulder, but she (the owl), clearly, did not fit ... then I thought place the owl in whithes hand,but the position of the witches left hand , which I drew, looked like ,an owl without, openly. So I think, without the owl woman could focus more on the ceremony ...
I also suggested that the owl should see the same thing as a woman, so I drew a bird staring at the alleged invisible hero (us).
Now I would draw clothes women in more detail, but I still wanted to focus on the eyes ...

That place looks absolutely creepy, and yet so magical.. You have great painting skills! The work really comes to life.

The only thing I would say looks out of place is the hair, it doesn't seem to be up to par with the rest of the drawing, but that's just me.
