Well through the announced tournament-contest with a partner feature of I´ve decided to draw an additional picture of Isamu one of Kankuro´s and Lori-Chan´s student-team-mates.I´ve only drawn him as a young Ge-nin and as an old version here:

Sure I´ve added and changed some of his clothings to make Isamu more special and unique than before.
The most remarkable things are the iron side-parts of his head-band, the lether-part around his hip and the pocket for his scrolls. One scroll is opened and shows the Kanji "ShiShi" which is referred to his puppet. He keeping his whole-body suit-style, because Isamu approoves it´s huge comfort and good moving-abilities.
He also has some special designed chain link gloves to protect his wrist, hands and fingers but still are super flexible, which is required for a good puppetry-result.
But they have special metallic tips for a better Chakra-conduct from the fingertips.
I´ve also finally developped a reason why Isamu is greatly afraid of loosing/hurting his hands although he´s generally really brave.
In the younger years as a Genin, Isamu did something really reckless to proove his bravety. To block a sword whith his bare hands like this:

Sure it went terrible wrong and he really nearly lost some fingers and a hand if Kankuro as a Sensei wouldn´t noticed it and brough Isamu to the medic nins.
But as a punishment for his stupidness Kankuro allowed the Medic-nins to heal the hands out of the critical danger, but the rest have to heal naturally.
(Isamu´s parents sure were informed and both approoved this punishment.)
So Isamu was forced to take a break from puppetry and has to studied much theoretical suff instead.
Sure his hands compleatly healed without any problems.
And Isamu truely learned the importance of his own hands if he wants to become a puppet-master from this day on.

Yes we are...itkinda was random I admit. I just remembered AFTERWARDS I´ve choosen my partner and he even wanted to let me choose which OCs shall be used.
I´m curious how far two puppet-master can go ahead in this tournament. XDDD

lol That's the spirit. Bah, digital art isn't everything. It just helps being a little experienced in it. Honestly, I find creativity, details, and a great storyline the most important things in art and character making.

Yeah it´s funny-weird, but Azuteor was my last opponent to whom I´ve lost in the last battle.
I truely admit that he has cool skills which shall be acknowledge too.
Emeralshearts even suggested me to sort out a new opponent this time, but I´ve rejected this idea, because I would feel it to be unfair towards the others.
What´s happened shall be faced ans hey it´s just a FUN-tornament for sure or?
And as I´ve wrote it before, even I don´t have these digital-skillz I simply try to
compense them with cool ideas. And if it failed the last time meabe I have better luck this times.

Yeah he sure is way younger in Shippuuden if Isamu shall become Kankuro´s student in the Future. But I didn´t decited the age-gap between him and his sensei jet....
I also won´t find the correct age as a matter for this contest, because I morely would make the OC similar aged or so on...

Normally he has his team who can help him out.
My partner is a puppet user too. I guess it will be difficult for your OC to get near the users.
But we´ll see to whom we´ll be selected or do you already know your opponet?

I'm just guessing but from the layout of the names on the participents page I'm not sure we'll face eachother in round one maybe later on (although I probably won't make it far) unless they decide to randomise it.

It'd be just me writing it out it would probably only be 4-5 chapters long (ending in a tie or Hanako surrendering or getting KO'd, no mentions of Kankuro though it would be as if neither knew anything of him)

So far as I understood and expect from you, you´ll make it a fair and exciting fight.
So there shouldn´t any problems.
Hmm will you have a reason why both are fighting against each oher? Because both are serving for Suna.
A reason cold be the long fight between puppeteers and scorpion-users. But Lori-Chan isn´t a realy puppet-user. The dragon-puppet morly was used when Juunibi took over Lori´s mind.

I had in mind a reason; (set pre kage meeting)
Hanako has to watch an area of the scorpions "territory" because food is suddenly vanishing there. Lori is in the area and she has seen some animals get dragged under the sand by something (the scorpions) so she is keeping animals (antelope, rabbits, lizards) away from there so they don't get attacked by what ever it is. They both encounter eachother and the fight begins, something tells me Lori would know of the fued between scorpion users, puppet masters so I suppose that could light the fuse (Hanako's perspective on puppeteers would have not changed so she would be very agitated by the mention of puppeteers and scorpion shinobi in the same sentence)
I would like them both to use Ryugan (dragon eyes) and Sasori-no-dana jutsu (scorpion eyes) at some point

Oh that´s an interesting reason. especially protecting smaller lizards sounds logical because I guess Lori-Chan would see them as small relatives in a far far distant way. ^^
Sure both were rushing in a fight imediatly(sp?) and during it or afterwards the reasons for both sides may be clearifued. But how to solve that?
This will be your taskt to tell me in form of an exciting fan-fiction.

hmm Lori was in the desert for fear of being found and her (and the dragon puppet) used as a weapon yes? so upon Hanako finding her she would go into defensive mode and not want Hanako running and telling anybody she found a member of the midori-ryu was in the area.
Hanako sees her as an intruder in scorpion territory (and a possible puppet master), shes not one to back down from a fight (especially one that may cost the lives of her scorpions) and not from somebody who mentions Aido and Chikamatsu.

And it seems that Hannako in the younger age have a more firceful feud
towards any puppet-user or person who mtion them in a positive way or?
And Ryu sure can be a huge trigger to enrage her.
But don´t forget Ryu only can be damaged by the own clan´s weapons....

I was thinking of setting it shippuden but just before kage meeting this is after she's learnt scorpion master jutsu (hanako would be 18/19). It would be set as if neither have met Kankuro or heard of him (Hanako would still hate puppet masters and only trust other scorpion shinobi, scorpions)
could exposed parts like her face, wrists, ankles, legs, arms get hurt via normal weapons, punches, kicks? (as in the areas not covered by her body plate armour) also can Juunibi "see" through lori's eyes?

Shure Lori-Chan´s bones can be broken even the suit isn´t damaged. It can protect from cuts, but giant impact still hurt pretty mean.
Sure no Kanky-timez. But I though it was kinda early because in the actual BIO I´ve let Lori-Chan hide with the age of 13/14.
Jep he can see through her. And also through the puppet´s eyes.
Turning green and having that angrily looking eye-lid are sure signs that the puppet kinda behaves alive.

I don't think she'll summon the puppet (Scorpion shinobi would want to smash that up and she can't risk that). I might have to fiddle around with the timelime's for this story (like say that her parents were killed much later on and she's only been hiding for half a year).
It will start something with like this;
Lori-chan sighed and sat back resting against the cool rocky outcrop next to the cave she had been residing in for the past 6 months. "Well it's not much... but it's home I guess" she said aloud, Juunibi stirred a little 'child you mustn't dwindle on the past' the dragon spirit commented before settling down again, she ignored him watching a small lizard scamper across the sand a few metres away nibbling on ants as it scrurried along. She enjoyed the company of the lizards they reminded her of the mighty dragons from her home, her real home not the little cave. The lizard stopped and appeared to be listening to something Lori smiled shutting her eyes "just like a dragonling" only to shoot them open at the sound of a distressed squeal and violent hissing the lizard was gone only disturbed sand remained where it was just stood.

Hmm well I know the wrath about your scorpions but if Lori-Chn really lost controll of Juunibi he simply let her make summon this puppet.
As long as hannako can´t steal a weapon of Lori-Chan she can´t damage the dragon-puppet. But sure immobilize. Stuffed joints aren´t a truely material-damage....
And the begnning sounds cool too. Poor lil´lizard. TT___TT

nah she wouldn't steal any weapons of Lori's she's only familiar with her own weapons and her body is her weapon so she wouldn't bother with stealing any.
what sort of fighting style does Lori have? is she a range fighter? a close combat type? Is she better at fighting heights (with the aid of her suit)?

That´s a good queation. I´ve let her be a mid- and distance-range fighter. That´s why she has the whip. The elemental-attacks (fire, air, earth) are her mainsupport too.
Sure she uses the winds for a quick movements with her wings too. Good for dodging or firceful dive-flights. The claws on her gloves and shoes are kinda the last resort when she´s hitting someone. Lori-CHan´s own body-strengh isn´t that incredible hight. But transformed into a smaller dragon it already help alot when having the natural waepons like horns, claws and a strong scaled-protected skin.
Reading the comics and BIO may be helpful too.

one last thing; Hanako's signiture move is conjuring a large sandstrom how would Lori cope in a sandstorm? would she blow it away or stand and just take it as it comes?

A Sandstorm is a mix of earth and wind and Lori-Chan kinda is used to them because of living in the desert. She COULD blow it away, but such move she didn´t performed because it may requite quite alot of chakra.
She rather would hide in the earth if possible and wait until it ends.
Lori-Chan prefers to dodge attacks than to conter them.
But during the flight a sandstorm could be critical for sure.

Hmm, but I guess morely that you simply want to know her tatics for a better portraying in your story or?

I'm just after her tactics since you made her you know how she'd think, behave in a battle and in battle situations better than I do, I want to keep her as in character, realistic as possible so the story fits around the characters better.

Yeah that "squeezing out for waekpoints" rather should have been a joke, because I know exactly your position.
I tried that with Shikuroxkanno with her Caral for the comic. But because she told me quite too little I made some mistakes which sure isn´t my fauld....
in general it was compliacte to portrait Caral in a correct way when she´s designed so be unique and whe the owner wants to tell just some spare things.
Luckily durig the time more and more is reveiled...
