tl;dr - He's a rebellious tough-guy wannabe that has a terrible temper due to being actually depressed.

  Isao is... rather questionable, to say the least. He's not your typical happy-go-lucky loud mouth who has nothing better to do then to turn the place upside, but he isn't exactly the shy and distant type either. If not anything Isao is mostly known for being rebellious in a subtle, and yet stern and affirmative manner. He doesn't like following people's orders other than his own, and is prone to annoyance when pushed to be in line. You could call him a bad boy when he sneaks a cigarette every so often, or even paints up his nails in a color he recognizes, but he wouldn't agree with you. "If it bends, then you can break it," he tends to say, usually applying that to the rules of the Facility and life's rules itself. Typical rebel is typical.

  To add on, Isao's quite the serious case; very stoic with his emotions. It's almost always the guy has a straight, unamused glance that hardly ever wavers. Because of this he's often taken as brash and intimidating, more or less someone who'd be deliberately rude just because he can.

  Isao also harbors a bad habit of not being able to keep his cool, as if though the only emotion he truly knows how to express is his rage. Sporting the stereotypical tough guy attire with a broad chest and muscles, he's a man who likes to pick fights just to stir things up and undoubtedly will he thoroughly enjoy the sheer feeling of his fist coming in contact with someone's face. Sure, he gets into boats of trouble because of it, but like an addiction he simply can't help himself. Whatever happens to trigger Isao's irritation (be it under the influence or not) it will quickly morph into rage and he will black out, lashing out in a fit of horrific wrath that can only be controlled by the Facility's authorities. (the guards in this case) He appears to not realize what he's doing until he's fully calmed down. (Or having to be sedated.)

  He hasn't been stuck into treatment as long as some other people, but his time in here has already taken it's toll. Notably, Isao seems to have an ever growing fear of his own thoughts. Because of his anxiety, Isao naturally racks up on horrible, horrifying scenarios to unintentionally terrify himself and, in some other cases, practically lose his mind. Although he enjoys his solitude, it proves to be his worse enemy for it gives him enough time to think, to become afraid, and to eventually run him up the wall. Because of this, he's a rather fidgety, nervous person behind his stone cold, cool guy attitude, who's just as scared of being in the facility as anyone else. With racing thoughts comes initial forgetfulness of previous thoughts, and at most will he forget what he's even talking about; especially if his anxiety is acting up horribly.

Underneath all this though, Isao doesn't really have the notion to hurt others; in fact he proves to be rather nice once you can squeeze through his rough introduction. It may be a bit hard to read what he's feeling based on his expressions (because most of the time he hardly lets his resting bitch face rest ironically), but after being around him you'll know when he's alright or thoroughly upset.

     As a child, Isao was adopted into the care of two eagerly awaited women, who were hoping to start a real family with their newly found baby boy and begin their typical family lives together. Isao was very bright and intelligible kid, and was always adamant about his education and learning but was also imaginative and ambitious. He was typically hanging around the top of his class, got rewards for being such a honor roll student and so forth. His "specialty" hadn't really came up during his youth, as if though his hands were too busy tending to impress his mothers and his friends. Its during his high school years did he begin to morph into.. something else. Suddenly Isao had became an outcast when first entering high school. He was typically alone and to himself, gradually becoming more and more afraid of speaking with others since he fears too many outcomes at once. This lead to his grades falling dramatically and everything else falling behind. He's lost friends, he's lost teacher's trust, he's also lost the respect of his mothers (even if they were very nurturing and understanding of his situations.)

  Around Junior year, he was diagnosed with anxiety after his mothers grew more worrisome about his performance and his actions at home. As he was being diagnosed though, Isao noticed something... odd. Something... absurd. As his doctors and mothers talked, he saw a gaseous aura admit from the three of them as they spoke, disappearing whenever they stopped. It was such a bright, calming hue that gently glowed out into the air like smoke in slow motion. It was a beautiful color, something he hasn't seen before but... what color was it? Was there even a name for such beauty? Either way, he kept it to himself during the doctor's visit. Perhaps it was just his condition messing with him. However, when jumping back into school, he saw the color literally everywhere. The ghostly gas had filled his school and clouded up into the ceiling with the many collective people speaking at once, and he was caught just staring at the ceiling multiple times like a oddball by his friends and teachers. No one thought of it wrongly at the time, they had only giggled at him and moved on.

  Isao hadn't said a thing about it until his final year of high school. He felt uneasy with this color emerging everywhere, and decided to speak with his mothers, the only women he trusted and understood him best, to see if they knew what was going on. "It's not my anxiety, is it?" he had asked them. His parents were simply shocked in the face, a hot wash of disbelief and fear ran their blood dry. They had agreed though to take him back to the hospital to see what they could do about this... color. However, Isao was not brought to just any doctor, but the Facility he's been hearing about around the school. It was for the Coloured, the sickly, why would he be brought here? With tearful regrets, his mothers, who had waited so long for a child to be in their arms, gave him up to the facility to perhaps correct him and help him. Besides, the treatment doesn't take that long, does it? He'll be out and back with his family in no time... Or.. so they thought 5 years ago.

※ Isao endures Sound-to-color Synesthesia, where certain types of sounds produces a color for Isao. Most of which are shades of white and black, but with certain people speaking, he sees purple. As of late, he's beginning to see shades of blue when he hears very loud sounds such as screaming.
※ With the treatment at hand, his anxiety has been under relative control for the past 3 months. When he does have an attack though, a sign you'll have to look for is when he begins to breath shallowly, and gasp for air like he can't breathe. During an attack, although he sounds at loss of breath, he talks very quickly, usually having his words containing no connections within them.
※ He's a homosexual who's eagerly searching.
※ He absolutely hates people crying. It sickens him and makes him cringe like scratching nails against a chalk board; it gives him the urge to hit people. Same with extreme happiness.
※ He likes to workout; often hangs out in the sporting area or gym. Its his method of letting off his anger at other things instead of people.
※ He's deathly afraid of hurting people he loves. Not so much the people he hardly knows.
