So this is Smash Ultimate's last DLC character.

Sora from Kingdom Hearts . It feels so surreal he ACTUALLY made it. (I was a doubter, I admit it!)

I don't know how Sakurai did it, but I have to admit, I still can't believe he managed to get "the evil, greedy corporate" DISNEY of all companies on board. He's definitely something of a miracle worker.

I've never played a single Kingdom Hearts game before, so I unfortunately don't have any attachments to him, though I've always wanted to try out the games someday, since I generally like action RPGs.

I for one, do not oppose Sora's inclusion at all. As one of the most highly-requested characters EVER, I believe he's well-deserving of his spot and a good choice to end SSBU on a high note. More sword users in general don't really bother me, and I'm just glad we did not end on someone super-disappointing in this pass (unlike FP1)

However, as much as I am okay with Sora, I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm a little discontented that this is TRULY it for Ultimate, and there will not be any more characters until probably the next game (if there WILL be a next Smash game that is). Yes, I know Sakurai deserves a good break for all his hard work, but the fact I have to wait a while for some of the characters I'd still want to see could take years. (I didn't get a single character I wanted throughout both DLC passes, so every hope I had until now was pretty much dashed, oh well... )

Congratulations to all Kingdom Hearts fans out there, I hope you enjoy this victory. Too bad I can't share the same enthusiasm, but maybe someday (if the heavens permit), I'd feel that same joy too. Enjoy the fanart nonetheless!
