For anyone else who may comment here. PLEASE DON'T CALL HIM STEVE. My god people, really? So every single piece of Eradicon art, has forcefully be related to that ripoff 4chan Eradicon? This is a simple piece of art of an Eradicon. Nowhere in the artist description says is Steve. Think before you comment. It simply says "Damage" Nothing more, not "Steve got hurt" or "Poor Steve is damage" None of it. :/ I would hate my art being called or being comment with something that doesn't even have anything to do with it.

I've just started watching TFP and I really do love the Eradicons/Vehicons but I'm already getting really sick of seeing everyone call EVERY SINGLE ERADICON STEVE. WHY!? 'Steve' isn't the collective term for them. They're called Eradicons! :c

Other Eradicons have (possibly) other names.
'sides, I think that the REAL Steve is getting rather sad at all this 'mistaken identity' stuff...

i guess i see your point, but i also don't see the harm in it. If the artist's confused, they can ask, even if their english isn't that good. I speak limited Japanese, but i can answer a "who's that" sort of question. Everyone learns different stuff through asking questions or hearing about it through someone else. If this artist is upset by seing "STEVE" on their profile, then they can just turn off comments, y'know?

I'm sorry, I'm just sick and annoyed that every Vehicon art has such comments. Even thought the artist said nothing about it being Steve. I think the thing that upsets me most it's because the "Steve" everyone knows it's a rip off from the original on Tumblr. Just the personality changed and given a love sick personality.
I don't see why the artist should turns off comments because of it. It should be people watching to at least have some respect about it. :/ I mean you wouldn't turn them off just because something upsets you and people can't seem to at least respect or think.
I have a Korean friend who saw their art on 4chan and everyone label their piece with Steve. They ask me flat out "Who the fuck is Steve?" And got upset because their art wasn't about that Vehicon, they did not make that piece about him or having anything to do with him. I know I would be upset too. I'm sure you would be too if people see a fanart you made for an entirely different reason and people just plain out comment things that have nothing to do with it AT ALL.
Besides the tittle is "Hasson Vehicon" The description says "Damage" It doesn't say anything about it being Steve AT ALL.

I've not seen any objection whatsoever by the artist, so i'm not thinking this is anything to get upset about. IF they expressed having an issue with this then yes, i think people should quit commenting with "STEVESTEVESTEVE."
But lets face it, its not our art, or opinion that matters in this, its the artists. Lets just let this go, and respect whatever later decisions the artist might make.

No, the original was on Tumblr as an rp character. Someone from 4chan took the name from it during the discussion.
That is exactly what I'm talking about. However I think if they see it is ABOUT Steve by all means, comment. But if it doesn't I think everyone should respect and think before commenting. I myself made Vehicon fan art but I'm afraid to post it because I know at least someone, or perhaps everyone will comment with it being Steve, even though nothing in the description says it is.
I know it is not, it just angers me. Because foreign artists are shy and afraid to ask mostly because of their English skills. I know because the few I have had ask me, they don't respond comments for the same reason.

I know it is. But you know, sad truth, most people don't read artist descriptions. That's one thing that annoys me.

I am telling people. The art work is tittle "Hason Vehicon" The description says "Damage" IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT IT BEING STEVE. I am sorry, It is not that I'm trying to be mean or deny anything but I am annoy by it. I had a Korean friend of which this has happen to her and she is quite both upset and disappoint that her art work ABOUT A VEHICON IN GENERAL was called Steve and that they would relate it to a situation having to do with Starscream when the truth it is not.
It is not only about that, it's about respect and what the artist it's trying to represent with their artwork. You wouldn't like to have your fanart being comment with things that have nothing to do with it at all right? Neither would I. It is mostly because foreign artist are shy, and insecure of their English skills that is why the majority don't respond to comments.
