Description Cinema. I was a Film major at the University (where they all said I was mad). That was a lonnnng time ago.

Bolex H-16. This particular one was made in 1941, It still runs at speed (8, 16, 24, 32, and 64 frames per second).

I used to shoot with a Bolex in Film classes, too. Those things are great.

They were built to last. I wonder how many thousands of miles of film have passed through all those Bolex 8s and 16s over the years.
