Canon EOS 60D | EF-S 15-85 @ 70mm | 1/160s | f/8 | ISO 200
Going through the archives and found this image that I thought perfectly captured the feel of the island of Moorea in French Polynesia.
Don't really have much to say about this one! This is one of the more iconic mountains on an island that is often called the most beautiful island in the world.
No print on this one unfortunately due to some quality issues at full resolution. I may consider allowing for smaller sizes though.

It was a handheld shot unfortunately, and I do not have the most steady hands and this was more of an afterthought of a shot. Unfortunately my time spent on that island was during the middle of the day only which really limited the photographic possibilities.
I may do a test of this one soon once my printer is set back up, but I doubt it would look decent at anything larger than like 8x10" or something similar.

Thanks! I have been a bit out of action lately, bought a house and lost my job and just in general have the winter blues. So I have been digging a bit through my archives and should have a few more I will probably upload soon. And hopefully I will break out of the slump and get back to shooting sooner or later!

Oh honey I'm sorry to hear that! I lost my job in August and I'm just now back to work...I have a lot of catching up to do... You be strong and keep taking pictures even if it's just everyday things..you don't have to travel to see the world..it's right in front of you.. I feel for you and your family and pray you get a job and back on to brighter days ahead~!! Don't give up on hope....that's all we have sometimes! Hugs and love! Take care honey!!

Oh its quite alright. Honestly, the job had gotten to a point that I was very unhappy with it. I of course just need to find something else sooner rather than later, with a mortgage to pay now my savings won't last forever! Just a little out of it because I have had tons of free time for photography and just haven't done any.

I was also going through the same thing at work....I did get terminated..and now have a job at home which is less stress and more money..or about the same as when I left. They say "Everything happens for a reason", even if we don't understand it at the time.
So many people are going through this that I talk to and usually end up finding a better job! Hang in there..just give yourself a break as far as the photography...you'll find your inspiration and passion again...I'm a sucker for a pretty sunset..Just an FYI! Take care Matt!!!

al natutural, looks awesome though you may have recive more fav and views if you have use some kind of effect with ligthroom or some other program

Thanks. This image has in fact been edited in photoshop and is not straight out of the camera. If you are talking about adding effects or really altering the image, that is not my style and to me that crosses the line into photomanipulation. Would rather try to stay true to my art than just try to get more views and favs.
