ahhah...You like the Chicken Feet???

Carlos-the-G In reply to mashi [2012-03-24 19:04:30 +0000 UTC]

Damn right! It's how we measure a good restaurant. You know you're onto a good thing if they make killer chicken feet!
The funny thing is that here in Australia dim sum is called yum cha. Implying it's more about drinking tea than eating... go figure.

hahah...There's a dim sum restaurant here that's called Yum Cha.
I dare not eat the chicken feet. I'm scared of chicken feet, real or dead. :/

Carlos-the-G In reply to mashi [2012-03-25 02:44:36 +0000 UTC]

Well, you'd prefer them real and dead... otherwise it could be awkward.
Seriously though, chicken feet is the dish that people (westerners) are afraid to try but when they do, they ask for it every time!

Do you like pork buns?

Steamed or baked?

mashi In reply to Artytoons [2012-03-25 00:47:17 +0000 UTC]

I don't really like pork buns, I only like red bean paste or lotus seed paste buns. hahha...There's custard buns too but some shop's may not be as nice.

The red bean paste buns are very good too.

Sweet.

Lots of dim sum stores in my city...different varieties and styles. Very good with tea, of course.

Dim Sum sounds tasty, but I hear Chinese Buns are just as good. ^_^

This is cute, Wendy! I love this and the Texas Toast fairy. Thanks for sharing!

(Btw, my birthday is coming up on April 10th... want to suggest a couple of fairies -- Garlic Bread (Italian) and Cuban Bread. ^_^

Yes! We get it in a lot of bakeries here in Tampa (a big Cuban community here).
