Griffith is from the anime and manga series "Berserk."By the time this was drafted I had finished watching the anime, and out of the scenes Casca's (sp) flashback was very powerful for me. This man sacrificed everything for the future of his army, or perhaps moreso for his own power. If someone is willing to go as far as he has, they are a star in my book >.>
This also was a major distraction. Gotta get back to the novel

The title is very appropriate (and I never really put too much thought into him -really- giving it his all, I guess after the selfish sacrifice he made I had forgotten about how he even used himself. No one was safe from his dream) I love the hidden tear (I didn't notice it until someone brought it up in the comments), and how you kept it mainly to three colors. The blood/beherit, the water/background/hair/eyes, and the skintone to give it a "real" feel against the red. Beautiful piece.

Nice! Volume 32 of Berserk is coming out soon YAY! I hope Caska will come back! On the farther episodes I hope Gatz will beat the hell out of Griffith/Femto and the 4 Godhand! If you need any info what's happened so far on Berserk just ask me

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I've only watched the anime so i'm missing out on sooo much story its not even funny. Do you purchase the volumes or do you read scans? I wouldn't mind finding out where I can read or purchase the manga from start to finish

Your work is really a success. Not only we feel the intense emotions which hustle Griffith, his deep sadness, but also its pride and its determination. It is a very good idea used the ranges of gray in bottom. all that touches me much. cheer!

Reflection looks right. IMO, the bellbutton is too high up. The coloring has a nice pasty feeling...

Ah yes, I know the exact scene you're talking about. Those self-inflicted scratch marks looked so very painful and I cringed when I first saw them in the anime (heck, I cringe every time I watch it in general). I think you captured that pain and loathing very poignantly here and I love the hidden teardrop. Aah you make me want to watch Berserk again. That series is classic. Ohh and the ps2 game is just pure AWESOMENESS!
