Yeah, well Aizik believes he wasn't suppose to have "thoughts" or "emotions", because he was only created to surpress the dark power within Vik. But Aizik's presence alone isn't enough since the power seems to react more with Vik's state of thought. If Vik isn't in a distressful state of mind, the power can't overcome him.
