I heard that the game takes place 7 years after DMC 2 and that Vergil was the one who took the Devil Brigger. But I don't believe that part on Vergil. I can't wait to get this game next year!

It Never Said It Takes Place After DMC 2 o_O Maybe You Heard It Wrong, It Takes Place After DMC 4. The Director Confirmed It On His Interview. Dante Looks Older Than DMC 2 It Made Everybody Think It Takes Place After DMC 2 And The Timeline Is Still Confusing I Know.
And Well, I Believe That Was Corrupt Vergil. I Mean, It Was Very Recognizing That It Was Him!!

Anyway, yep... That's the "cuffs" or should I say "cuff-links" I was referring to. I mean, when you know Vergil's attire, you would remember those sleeves of his.
The design may be more realistic but it's still the same style as in the very same trench coat that Vergil usually wears.
His coat kind of needs to be replaced though... Or at the very least, it could use a good wash.

What I would love to see in this game would be the possibility to play a story mode with a character choice !
=> With your character having his own lines to say, his own actions to make in each and every mission ! That would be so dope...

Last I heard the timeline goes like this...3, 1, 4, 2 and if you want a confusing timeline look up Zelda timeline three timelines lol. I don't think it would take place between 4 and 2 cause Dante looks older than what he does in DMC 2.

Well, technically, nothing proves that Nero is really Vergil's son... So we would need some clarification on that one...
Plus, in the past, Nero heard Vergil's voice echoing in his head : "Power, give me more power !!"
=> That means that Vergil probably had something to do with Nero's arm changing...
Then there's the issue that Nero kept Yamato with him so Vergil wanting it back is no surprise...
