Danke Dir ganz, ganz sehr !!!

I use a ruler and spray with airbrush along of it... it's not too difficult, if you have airbrush. The only thing to beware of is, to be careful of the color, when it's still wet. I ruined a lot of paintings, because the color wasn't dry and smeared all over

I had this idea since Nagoya and Ise... now I finally had some time to paint it. Right now I'm sitting over a big canvas, but I have no idea, what I could paint. I normally only work on small formats, but I became member of that Japanese art association and all of them paint on huge formats. I want to have something ready for the next exhibition (don't know when it will be, but I feel much better, if I have something I can already submit )

Great to hear that you've become a member of Japanese art association. I believe it's not that easy to become the member, is it? I can imagine that you don't know what to do with the big canvas. I have never tried big canvases because I don't think I can handle them, especially, I find it is very difficult to do watercolors with big papers. However, I know you'll create some wonderful artworks! Go for it, Julia-san!!

martoo1973 In reply to Masasasaki [2009-05-10 22:30:51 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much... I still can't believe it.
I also recieved a catalogue of the exhibition in Tokyo and it's wonderful to see not only my work there, but also the other paintings, so I can see them again. Back on that exhibition, I only had 1 hour or so and not enough time to look arround more. Now I can enjoy the exhibition again through that catalogue and it's wonderful, because it was very colorful and everybody had his/her own unique style.
The canvas is still blanc, I thought it's better to finish another mushroompicture
Have a great week
