A huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan! I decided to make this April O'Neil maquette after seeing the TMNT 2014 movie. I think casting Megan Fox as April O'Neil was a great fit to the character.

My goal is to make a hyperrealistic figure sculpted and painted to capture the character of April O'Neil in a one of a kind statue for my artist studio. This has been a project I have been working on for quite some time now.

I sculpted Megan Fox first in oil-based clay then in super sculpey, it's 1/6 scale, the whole statue stands about 11 inches tall. The final copy is in resin. I painted it in acrylics.
