This is a tribute, oh, to the greatest WildeHopps-story in the world!

Well it’s been a while since I posted something. And it’s also a while I worked on THIS Idea.
The picture is based on the magnificent fan fiction of Cimar-WildeHopps Always my Sly Bunny, Always my Dumb Fox

Well but that’s not the main-story behind this picture.
Some time ago - I came up with the idea to draw the Milky Way I love to photograph at night. And in the meantime I read this fan fiction and this one scene, when Nick and Judy sitting at an old oak tree in Bunnyburrow and enjoy the peaceful moment and the starry sky, was one of the best and I build this picture in my head.

With the idea to make a tribute, I made a small sketch and send it to Ziegelzeig . He got the same idea in the same moment and asked me if I could help him to realize a tribute. Well that was in March 2017…

In Mai 2017, Zieg drawed the outlines. I modified them but realized, that I was not ready yet do draw a fully landscape like this.

I started this project before X-mas and did some experimental in painting.

And I also want to say: Thank you guys for the fan fictions, for the leading into this community, the inspirations and all the goodies that came up with this small steps.
