Isn't Painter awesome? Which one, IX or X?
I learned recently that as good as Painter is, Photoshop is surprisingly near-sufficient for layin' on those strokes.
Now if I could just steal the Wacom tablet back from my friend...

yeah you need a wacom XD
and photoshop is awesome, of course. But Painter is just so raw, its nice to go crazy with it.
I only have the trial of X, which just ran out. Its MUCH better than IX, but, i just have IX right now

the colors are great, but it's the design that's the strongest part. the head design is way different from anything you normally see. almost insect like.

Just plain awesome! I don't even know what to say right now, seriously. It's just fantastic! You draw, and color, mecha so well. You're inspiring me to try my hand at something like this and learn to draw mechanical subjects as well as you!
