I didn't know that you can keep prairie dogs as pets. That's amazing.
They are shown in European zoos also relatively rare. That is very unfortunate. I like them. They are really very cute.

About 6 years ago the law changed and said they can't be kept as pets anymore. It was after some illness started that they said was from prairie dogs. I may self think they were just a scape goat. If you know what I mean. I gave them to a friend of mine because them male would get out all the time and the neighbor got all scared he would get them sick. So my fried took them. I don't think the zoos around here have them because there not that rare. But I think there so cute and loveable. Ours were called Shy and Dar.
