Description After recently finishing the mass effect trilogy for the first time i wanted to pay tribute to my Commander Shepard the only way i know how, by drawing her. This is my Jane Shepard, Captain of the Normandy, First human spectre, Saviour of the Citadel. Jane Shepard was born on Earth and raised on the streets to look out for herself, she enlisted in the military at age 18 and thus began her career in the human Alliance fleet, she was the sole survivor in a horrible attack by a thresher maw on the planet Akuze, which awarded her with countless medals and bought her nearly any post within the fleet. Jane Shepard was a soldier class, as her power wasnt infused with biotic energy, but rather with a sturdy rifle in hand and comrades by her side, and with her determination and strength she was always the last one on the battlefield. Jane Shepard was intimidating to her enemies while simultaneously she was the kindest to her friends, she followed in the path of the paragon saving the Rachni queen on noveria, saving the council during the sovereign attack, destroying the collector base, curing the genophage, and reuniting the Geth and Quarians. Jane Shepard fell in love with Kaidan Alenko during the events of Mass Effect 1, 2 years laters she found herself falling for another man, a dying man, a Drell by the name Thane Krios. After the Coup on the Citadel Thane had eventually succumbed to his illness leaving Shepard broken and alone, Kaidan and Jane inevitably found their way back together again one last time. In the final moments that would determine the fate of all known galactic civilization, Commander Jane Shepard chose to destroy the reapers and end their cycle of genocide once and for all. With the catalyst gone and the reapers destroyed, the Citadel and Mass effect Relays were all damaged but still intact, galactic peace could finally begin anew and civilization could begin to rebuild, all thanks to one fire haired woman. It is unknown if Jane Shepard survived her encounter with the catalyst, but one thing is certain, Commander Shepard is a hero, and without her sacrifice no one would be left to tell the tale of the fire haired woman.

Thank you to bioware for creating one of the greatest game series of my life, and thank you for creating one of the greatest video game characters of all time. Happy N7 Day.
