I'm so happy you've called me out on the style of the kimono because, although I intended it to be a furisode, it's actually not. I know! - Rin is definitely not married...at least not yet! I decided to make the kimono short sleeve, otherwise it would have covered more of Sess's attire than I would have liked. After all, he's the main attraction.
Oh, and I'm glad you also mentioned the black and white color contrast because that is exactly what I was thinking! Black is a mature and elegant color (one of my favs too!) so I thought it would give Rin a sense of maturity and refinement (because she's learned all this from Sess, right). This would appear more appealing to Sess since he can be indecisive about her at times, although you couldn't tell from this image
I also loved your observation about the Ying and Yang undertones! Great feedback!! Thanks once again!
