Description TITLE: Fred at Grimmauld Place

ORIGIN: Harry Potter

CHARACTER: Fred Weasley

MEDIA: Sketched in openCanvas 1.0. Colored in Painter and touched up in Photoshop.

ESTIMATED TIME: 3 hours

COMMENTS: Fred is emotionally unstable. Not that I'm one to talk.

NOTES: From Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, chapter 22 (UK Edition):

At ten past five in the morning by Ron's watch, the kitchen door swung open and Mrs Weasley entered the kitchen. She was extremely pale, but when they all turned to look at her, Fred, Ron and Harry half rising from their chairs, she gave a wan smile.

'He's going to be all right,' she said, her voice weak with tiredness. 'He's sleeping. We can all go and see him later. Bill's sitting with him now; he's going to take the morning off work.'

Fred fell back into his chair with his hands over his face.

This is where the Weasleys are all waiting for news over whether or not Mr. Weasley is dead.

Yay for emotionally unstable boys. For a very simple picture, very well done. You've a mastery of human form. (This almost looks like the style of that new Kenau Reeves film, where they painted over the actors to make it simplified and cartoon-looking) I really like it.

I thinnk you captured the moment described very well!

As for the drawing itself, the colouring of the hands is amazing! Well, so is the rest actually, but I liked the hands most

A wonderfully emotive piece. The dark colours and his head down and his hands ! I'm going to marry those hands. They actually look like Beater hands - thick and broad.
