The end of Summer is nearing. This season is always filled with warmth and happiness, and I wanted to draw something that captured that feeling!
Omg, I really, really like this drawing! This is the first time I followed a tutorial in years, and I'm so glad it turned out well!
I wasn't even originally going to draw this, haha. Since the end of summer is sneaking up on us, I really wanted to get a picture of Summer!Scotty in the ocean- I actually decided to splurge and get a commission, which I very rarely do ( because I'm so cheap/broke), so I contacted about 3 or 4 people... and none of them responded ( well one did, but then they just stopped OTL). That's never happened before, lol; I actually thought there was something wrong with my note system. And then I had to spend my little commission budget on real-life things, so that was a moot point.
But, the plus side of being an artist is that I can always draw it myself! Which I did I also made a speedpaint for this! I'll link it below!!
I drew this entirely while listening to some really jazzy 80's j-pop music. I wanted to use it for my speed paint, but I didn't want to get hit by another copyright claim, lol. But, I'll link you all to one I really like~ youtu.be/3bNITQR4Uso

It's an amazing work of art. I love the sky and the water in the background you did very well with these. Also I love the way you colored her hair. By looking at this art I can say that you are a great anime artist.
The shading is placed on the right places but on some places (like on her neck and legs) it's a bit too dark in contrast with her skin color in my opinion. Another thing is that maybe the sun is a bit misplaced. By the place you put it on it looks like if the girl's hat is behind it and maybe you should have made this place a bit too dark since I guess it must be in a shadow if she's not looking at the light source e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="
